Back to Blogger

Posted in Uncategorized at 8:55 am by madebyme79

Hi everyone.  I know this is going to be really annoying, but this was only a trial remember.  I’ve figured out a couple more things with blogger and I’ve decided to go back to my old blogger page.

WordPress is good, but blogger has more freedom to change things around (that may not be true but I don’t know enough about HTML to do it myself) and there’s more widgets that seem to be available on blogger.  And it’s a pain jumping back and forth between NZSU and Made By Me on different accounts.

So thank you all for being so patient with me, I’ll have my old blog back up and running today.  With hopefully a cool new layout, a couple more cards and maybe even some blog candy.

What do you all think??

Posted in Uncategorized at 4:53 am by madebyme79

I thought I’d try out Word Press for blogging.  I get frustrated with Blogger at times.  So let me know what you all think and I’ll decide over the next week whether or not to make the change permanent.

Answering Karen’s question of why WordPress and not Typepad.  Wordpress’s basic blog is free, Typepad after a two month trial you have to pay a subscription.

Sorry I’ve Been So Slack

Posted in Uncategorized at 11:51 pm by madebyme79

I know I haven’t posted much over the last two weeks. School holidays have meant that I havn’t had much time for stamping. Also I’ve been working lots – I work six shifts a fortnight, so you’d think I’d do three shifts each week, but it never works out like that, this week I’m doing five shifts and next week only one. So hopefully that means next week when, Baylee’s back at school and I’ve got a few days off I’ll get a chance to catch up.

For now I’m playing with my new toy – an iPod Touch – seriously cool, Baylee’s glued to the playstation – so much for only a hour, she’s managed to squeeze in an extra hour while I’ve been distracted and Bella’s making up a concoction of cold milo, old perfume and orange peel in her play teaset. And I need to get sorted for work (its lunchtime and I’m still in my PJs).

Take care
And beware of apples – an apple a day doesn’t always keep the dr away – (a story for another day).

Bookmarks

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:49 pm by madebyme79

Hi Everyone

Thanks for all your kind comments.  I think I’ve got everyone’s addresses so I’ll post the bookmarks out today or tomorrow, except Debbie (would you mind emailing it to me?).
Hope everyone is having a good week. Things are a little stressed here at the moment so my blogging may be a bit random for the next few days.
Take care everyone.

Stationary Set

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:51 am by madebyme79

There’s been a couple of questions about the Stationary Set I made a couple of posts down.

Firstly it only took about an hour to actually make the box. But it took me half the day to make all the cards and tags etc due to various interruptions from children etc.

And secondly the receiver was Megan Finer, who won it as Blog Candy which was running on NZSU.

Sorry no scrap night tomorrow

Posted in Uncategorized at 7:57 am by madebyme79

I’ve had to swap my shift at work so I can go out partying Thursday with Michelle.  Unfortunately that means no Scrap Night tomorrow night.  We’ll give it a miss this month, as next Wednesday 25th I’m running my eScape Stamp-A-Stack.  There’s still a few spaces left if anyone is interested let me know.

Hope you’re all having a good week and tucked away from with wind and rain.  I’m off now to cut enough cardstock for 75 of the 350ish cards that we’ll be making at the WOW Conference on Saturday.
